I am a mom who lost her adult son and I can tell you she is proud of you. A mother‘s love doesn’t go away. It doesn’t change no matter how shitty of a kid do you think you are or were, it just doesn’t go away or change. That love is ingrained in our DNA. There’s no time limit on it.

I am sorry Skye, that is tough. Alina was an awesome person. But you were not a shitty son, you made choices, not always good ones, but those didn't make you a shitty son, they were you experiencing life and you learned from those choices and became the man you are today. I was there when your mom accepted Christ. His grace is not deserved and cannot be earned. If she can look down from heaven, I know she is extremely proud of you.
