That’s not true God didn’t promise us that. He said in this world we will have trouble but take heart he has over taken the world. Just because you’re close to God does not mean everything will go smoothly. Sometimes God will allow bad things to happen to refine you or you may not even get a reason why something happened. Look at job, he was blameless and close to God and bad things still happen to him. In the end everything worked out but that doesn’t mean you’re not going to go through trouble.

As long as you are a human being, Christian or not, otlo bona masepa! Life is both good and bad experiences, but the message from book of Mathews is that put your trust in God don’t be ruled by worry and stress. Seek 1st the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given unto thee. Also don’t rely on your own understanding, because God’s values and principles will guard our lives and benefit us. but so let’s not think we can know everything and understand everything, some things we don’t know why they are they way they are, and that’s ok as long as we can trust God
