I'll never forget pushing your wheel chair in coscto and watching you sit in the kosher ile. Ill never forget taking you to Santa Monica Pier where you have not been in over 20 years, even though you lived 15 minutes away. Ill never forget the meals we had together. The biggest thing ill never forget, is you brining me to your second home. For those of you who dont know, Irv ran a luxury furniture factory in LA since 1966. When he found out I was taking woodshop my senior year of high school, he flew me out for 2 weeks that summer. He never had someone close to him interested in woodworking. From the summer of 2016 to Winter 2020, I went to visit him 13 times. The 13th time was his funeral. Every winter and summer break in college, I stayed for about 2 weeks at a time. I went on adventures with Irv, went skydiving, and spent time at the factory. I became friends with the workers at the factory, and now they hold a very special place in my heart. JJ, Lupe, and Antonio were family to me. Not only did I get to spend a lot of time with Irv, but I also got very close with his son David, who helped take care of him. To this day, we talk as much as we can and he means the world to me. When I told him about starting my own company, he was behind me 100%. I know Irv is watching over me, and I cant wait to keep his tradiotion on. My dream is to open up my own factory and woodworking school and have people with disabilties work there. All I want to do is help people who need it the most, and to me, thats people with Autism. In high school I taught computer graphics to the students with disabilties. I went to one of the best teacher colleges and got my masters in special education and my bachelors of sciene in stem with a specilazation in technology. For the past 3 years, I have been teaching woodworking. I have been greatful to have a few students with autism and other disabilties. Please help me make my dream come true and donate to my gofundme to start something thats never been done before.
