@comprehensivechiro: Bad posture isn’t usually one specific position. It’s spending too much time in the same position. Most of us spend hours every day sitting, driving, scrolling, and working in a flexed posture. Over time, your body adapts to the positions you spend the most time in. That’s why exercises like this thoracic extension drill can be so helpful. By moving your upper back into extension, you’re giving your spine the movement it often misses throughout the day. Research shows that prolonged sitting and sustained flexed postures can contribute to increased stiffness, discomfort, and reduced thoracic mobility. The goal isn’t to sit perfectly upright 24/7—it’s to regularly change positions and maintain the ability to move in all directions. Motion is lotion. If you’re stuck in flexion all day, make sure you’re earning some extension too. Tag someone who’s always being told to “sit up straight.” 👇 #chiropractor #chiropractic #rehab #posture #mobility
