When we were renting, i did everything through an agent and for signing the contract, i told her that my partner is coming to sign too. When we were there, the agent, the owner, my gf and me sitting at the table, the agent said “i see your partner couldn’t make it”

Omg not quite the same but when my dad was helping me buy a bed for my new apartment the shopkeeper made a comment about it being ‘our’ bed (I can’t remember specifics I’ve blocked it out lol) I was mortified to say he’s my dad
