i mainlined the main story even on novice. now I'm hardlocked in the last quest with enemies i can barely kill. anytime you have LPs use it guys. do all the side quests as much as you can, grind and make lots of potions cause food is not gonna cut it.

i actually don't think you can mainline it even on easy you just won't have enough gear or levels and everything will fuck you up you have to explore

Yes and no. Gothic 1 is VERY front heavy on the quest giving. The vast majority of quests and activities can be completed before the start of chapter 3. By the time you get to chapter 3 and beyond, there are SOME side quests to do but it’s mainly about the main story at that point

just beat everyone with a sword rob there stuff and sleep they just magically forgot it i robbed gomez and his goons on chapter 1 at level 5 because I stole good gear off bloodwyn now I have accent ore armor and best sword in game and when you ho back they just talk to you like nothing happened lol
