I hate we all go to like Asian countries and then they say something to other people who are not from Asia and then everybody was like oh my God, not racist they was just saying things what do you mean they know foreigners and other Asians and blacks and why they know the human species already exist. It’s because in China with the lack of international people traveling there that it’s fascinating to them. As someone who’s lived there for 15 years, they don’t mean it to be rude in any way. They are curious and just want to engage with foreigners.

The conversation sounds totally fine to me. There’s a cultural difference here. There’s a word here 崇洋媚外 that means people love and look up to any foreign things and culture. I just don’t get why saying foreigners sound rude…
