giant leopard moth 💚 the caterpillar is always mistaken for wooly bears. the caterpillar of a Giant Leopard Moth is the only one that overwinters AS A CATERPILLAR! I guess all its hairs keep it warm 😂

Nice one! Ive never caught one in the wild. Ever get to see a royal walnut moth? some people call em a royal mayo. I had one fly in my window one night. Huge, but have a kinda sad story.
