I'm 45. Our youngest of 4 just graduated high school. People keep telling me that my house is quiet because I succeeded not failed. And while I understand that, for 25 years I had a PURPOSE, I was needed...I was mommy and it just went by so much faster than I ever imagined.

It’s been the hardest transition for me. It’s an emptiness you can’t explain. You want them to have their own life and you wouldn’t trap them at home for anything - but the pain- “like who am I without my babies”
