I wouldn’t use grease to press out my hair. I definitely will use grease like you’re using it now or while my hair is damp prepping it for a protective hairstyle.

My hair feels greasy after wearing a silk press for more than a week. I shampoo weekly. That’s my remedy for dry scalp. Good ole h2o.

I am so confused. Cause your hair looks weighed down, product built up crazy and stringy. that isn't meant to be shady, it's just true. Grease has nothing to do with you Growing your hair or retaining length specifically, it seals in moisture, so do a 1000 other things. it says that it's doing things for your scalp and hair, so does a 1000 other things that don't Weigh your hair down and don't provenly suffocate your scalp. But the simple fact is, whatever works for you works for you, but we're not gonna advocate for a product while using it incorrectly lol.
