To clarify on the time travel thing! The shops/fountain reset at 5 am on your system clock. When you time travel and hit “confirm” when the game warns you of the penalty, a 24 hour timer starts, BUT won’t reload the shops until 5 am after the timer is up, so it’s 24 + however many hours are left until 5 am, up to 47 hours depending on when you changed the clock. ADDITIONALLY! The timer will reset every time you change the date and time in your switch. So don’t TOUCH the clock during the 24 hour penalty or you’ll have to start all over again. (IDEALLY, THE PLAY) if you want to have the LEAST amount of penalty time, time travel before you log off for the day or before you go to bed, before 5 am. That way, you can collect everything from the afternoon market and the night market, and only have to wait one irl day. The morning on the day after, your shops should be open and the seasonal items will be available at the fountain. One last thing, i have done this all myself so i can attest- time travel will not affect your miis or their relationships. They won’t act any different and nothing will change abruptly. Even the “married for x days” remains relative to the actual time spent playing the game instead of relative to the system clock. The shop freeze is the ONLY penalty you have to worry about :)

it's not an end to the game, you can still play it after!!! it just shows the credits and you will no longer have anymore new vacation places to go
