On April 23rd, 2026, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma stage 2. A day that completely changed my life forever. Never in a million years did I think I would ever hear the words “you have cancer.” But now here I am, fighting a battle I never expected to face. Since then, everything has felt different. I’ve learned how quickly life can change and how important it is to appreciate every single day, because tomorrow is never promised. On May 19th, my hair started falling out. Watching it happen broke me more than I can explain. On May 27th, I made the decision to shave it all off. Losing my hair has been one of the hardest parts of this journey because it makes everything feel so real now. Through all of this, I honestly don’t know what I would do without my family. They’ve been my biggest supporters and have stayed by my side through every breakdown, every fear, and every hard day. Cancer is not easy. There are so many ups and downs, and some days are harder than others. But I want to share my journey to remind others that they are not alone. It’s okay to cry, to be scared, to feel angry, and to show emotions. We’re human, and we’re fighting battles people can’t always see.
