@nobudgetbabe: ⬇️ Here's what I'm doing. Inflation just hit a 3-year high, and most people are focused on the wrong thing. They're focused on the fact that everything is getting more expensive. I'm focused on ownership. One of the biggest wealth-building lessons I ever learned is that inflation doesn't affect everyone equally. If your wealth is sitting in cash, inflation slowly erodes your purchasing power. But if you own stocks, businesses, real estate, and income-producing assets, inflation can actually work in your favor over time. That's why people say inflation is a tax on the poor that benefits the rich. The difference isn't income. The difference is ownership. And while everyone is talking about inflation today, I'm also watching the VIX (the market's fear gauge). Because when fear rises, markets often fall. And when markets fall, great assets can go on sale. Inflation teaches me to own assets. The VIX helps me know when those assets might be on sale.
