I totally understand. I moved to Florida and as a nanny (even though I'm a museum curator) I earned $35 an hour in Florida. I moved here to York, SC because my husband was transferred, and I'm trying to find a job, but it's impossible. What they're offering is in the $8-$18 range an hour. I'm also a special education tutor, but educators here get paid even less than in Florida.

Big difference in depression and what's going on now. There are jobs to be found with good wages. Prices are going up with greed and demand. But we keep paying $12 for a $2 coffee. $100k for a truck worth about $50k. Why wouldn't thay keep processing high?

I’m visiting NC from Ok. I’m staying over by Raleigh. My husband works here & we thought about relocating but NOPE! I honestly love it here but everything is more expensive. We bought a home in OK for $165k 5 br, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and on 5 lots. We can’t come close to that size & price in NC & yes groceries & essentials are more expensive in NC.
