* I WILL BE HOUSED IN THE SAME HOME THIS FALL* BUT— I signed my lease October-July 1st as I met my landlord after her long term summer tenants left. It was a complete miscommunication on my part and my landlord feels terrible—she is a clinical physiologist for level 2 autistic adults which is what I am. We’ve spoken about how to avoid this next summer as I’ve been invited back! She’s got my back, this is just one of those situations where because I have NO supports it just fell through the cracks :(

Definitely call some hotels/motels and talk about long term stay. You may beable to talk to price down a decent amount. I know it’s not the same as a house but if it comes down to it it might be something you can do

Are you a part of any Still Coviding FB groups? You might be able to find housing leads there as well as folks who are willing to mask in the home if that broadens your search.

the northampton/amherst/hadley/Sunderland area is the 5 college area and often has a bajillion summer sublets. maybe try the FN page "queer housing western ma" to see if anyone there has a spot, or could recommend other college housing and sublet pages

would a long term hotel stay be too much for your allergies? some hotels offer great long term stay rates! when I worked at a Fairfield Inn, there was a long term guest who had allergies and I know my manager worked with her.
