you’re not in a lane, you’re filtering. you don’t have the right of way when not in a lane. same as if you were riding in the center median. the car had the right of way since the lanes had stopped for it.

Cars are stopped for a reason.A motorcyclist should pay attention as to why the cars are stopped. Stop acting like someone that's on a motorcycle never needs to stop for anything.

it says keep clear, both lanes were stopped so the white car was free to go. it's why I hate lane filtering. it makes you unpredictable and that's the worst thing you can be on the road, especially on a bike

Bike. IMO There is an expectation of safety when you can see both lanes are stopped. The biker was lane splitting, NOT in a lane and although it may be legal, it’s also his responsibility to proceed with caution. Fortunately no collision
