We literally evolved to cook our food. Humans have been cooking food for hundreds of thousands of years. It increases bioavailability of nutrients, and increases our ability to digest with less energy. We could not be where we’re at without cooking food.

The human brain developed most after we learned how to cook our meals. As far as i know it’s because we didn’t need as much energy for our digestion because we can Digest cooked food more easy. Can you please tell me how it’s benefitial to eat raw if most of our progress as human species is thanks to NOT eating raw anymore. I‘m not trying to argue, i‘m trying to learn. If i was wrong please Tell me and if i wasn’t, tell me why it’s still benefitial to eat raw

“proteins denature” that literally makes them more bioavailable 💀 microwaves are also less hot than methods like an oven and don’t involve water so there’s LESS nutrient loss😭

"raw S tier" 😂😂😂 While raw food preserves all vitamins, cooking isn't just a compromise. Cooking softens tough plant cell walls and denatures proteins, which actually increases the bioavailability of many nutrients (like lycopene in tomatoes or beta-carotene in carrots) and makes meat significantly easier for the human digestive tract to break down and absorb. "the enzymes are still alive." what is this even supposed to mean 😂😂😂? Whether you destroy them with a cooking flame or eat them completely raw, your highly acidic stomach acid destroys and breaks down these enzymes during digestion anyway. They do not survive to assist your body. Next, the claim that microwaves "violently vibrate" and "tear through nutrients faster than anything else" is scientifically backward lol 😂😂😂.Microwaves use non-ionizing radiation to cause molecular friction, heating food rapidly from the inside out. Because microwave cooking is incredibly fast and requires minimal to no water, studies consistently show it actually preserves heat-sensitive vitamins (like Vitamin C and B vitamins) better than almost any other conventional cooking method. For air frying,it literally just a compact, high-powered convection oven. It cooks via dry heat, much like the B tier roasting and baking card praises. The primary danger of deep frying comes from oil oxidation and degradation (the accumulation of aldehydes in fats reheated to high temperatures). Because air frying uses little to no oil, it completely avoids this issue and is a drastically healthier alternative to traditional frying. Finally, the claim about Teflon is exaggerated. Modern nonstick pans manufactured after the mid-2010s are strictly PFOA-free. Teflon (PTFE) is highly stable at normal cooking temperatures. It only begins to break down and release harmful polymer fumes if it is accidentally overheated past 500°F (260°C)—which typically only happens if a pan is left completely empty on a high burner. At normal medium-heat cooking, it does not leach chemicals into your food.

Add about the PFAS forever chemicals in air fryers too. Most if not all have them and break down at about 260* and some air fryers are just 10-20* shorter than that with ‘max crisp’ settings

Microwaves do not uniquely destroy nutrients or alter proteins in strange ways. Like every cooking method, they use heat, which can reduce some heat-sensitive vitamins and denature proteins. Protein denaturation is a normal part of cooking, not evidence of damage. Since microwaving usually cooks food quickly with little water, it often preserves nutrients better than longer methods such as boiling. Calling it lazy is just an opinion, and speed is not its only benefit.
