There are family friendly pride events. They are advertised as such. There needs to be more of them so you don’t have to travel as far to attend

I think there should be a family pride WEEK for families who come during a specific day (or even come during the day) AND for us gays who can't come at night only! Plus it would be really fun & good for people to be able to find other families who are also queer! (Esp us new moms!)

those do exist. I went as a queer kid, and then I also went to Chicagos big event which is the gooey one. it's not the big parade but they do definitely exist

Thats how we do it at Mardi Gras. We have family friendly parades for normal parades near morning to late afternoon. Night time festivities are on bourbon street.

I’m from a Cajun area. We absolutely had family friendly Mardi Gras in one area, and the more adult version in another. I think this could work for PRIDE as well.

in Australia we do, specifically in NSW, we have a day time parade and, a night time festival, its amazing one of Sydney's biggest events is mardi gras
