It's true I think it's just a lack of education. Also can't we increase oil independence cause we have oil in our country so let's try developing that industry to a point where we become independent

My opinion, Mantashe became Minister of mineral resources in 2018, and if we look at the current situation we are in right now, i say he failed SA. I say this because we had 6 oil refineries but now currently there are atleast 2-3 that are still operating. SA now relies on importing from the Middle Eastern countries which costs way more. If these 6 oil refineries were still operating here in SA there wasn't going to be a need of fuel increase because we were making it ourselves. Fuel prices in 2017 were around R13-R15. How the f**k did we get R35? What ppl are saying is true, that fuel we use today no longer lasts longer in vehicles, and thats coz its no longer made here. This government isn't working please its ppls interests but working to please Foreign interests. What i don't understand is that how is it that the oil tankers move through the Strait when SA position is in the South, meaning there's no need for the oil tanker to go through the Strait. The UAE and Saudi aren't even on top of Iran they below it so there's definitely no need to through the Strait. Laba bayasijwayela and thats why the ppl are fighting for change coz they think governing kids nnxx. Waze wakude uNovember!!!

yet we get 70% of our petroleum from africa... so only 30% going though the top... so it shouldn't affect us immediately.. but ke white people control the narrative
