I’m gonna travel to Finland for an internship in October and I’m so scared of not being able to communicate with the children at the daycare I’ll be working at that I’ve started learning Finnish 😭 But considering I always wanted to learn a new language, this seems like a great opportunity

if you learn hungarian first 😄than more easy to learn Suomi. exempl to me no problem reading Finnish text but offcourse I do not understand a single words 🤭

For me what makes me excited to learn the Finnish language is the Finnish people, I meet or talk to some Fin and they are nice people, they try to speak English because they know I can't understand their language. it's motivating me to learn their language so I can connect with them and comfortably have small talks to them. I met one fin he is good in English and we talked a lot, he said fins are talkative (because I told him before that fins are introverted) only when you get their trust or he comfortably trusts you. and here all FYP are about Finland or Soumin keili 🥰 wait for my class this coming August 💪 Kiitos Päljon Mimmu you are one of my fav content creators about Soumin keili 🥰🥰

When I was in Finland this past year as a tourist and asked non-native Finnish speakers how to learn and also men that married Finnish women if they had learned the finish language, the overwhelming comment was Finns don’t like non- perfect Finnish so it’s difficult to learn. Thoughts as a native? Cuz I find it super fun and interesting
