A good tip to get a person with dementia to drink some water is by saying “I’ve got the water you asked for” and say “I’m sorry It took me a while to grab it it slipped my mind… I worked on a dementia unit for a few years and it always worked for me personally.

Non alcoholic beer is very hydrating and Heineken is possibly the best. It appeals to dad as he thinks sneaking a pint in is getting one over on us 😂
