@tanganyikawildlifepark: BAT-EARED FOXES have oversized ears for an important reason. Their large ears act like satellite dishes, helping them hear tiny sounds that other animals might miss. Bat-eared foxes can detect insects moving underground, especially termites and beetles, which make up much of their diet.
