Chicago has like 30-50 kid/teenage victims of gang violence every year and most victims are black. The mayor is more focused on blaming white people then fixing his own communities

Sorry to butt in, I have just stumbled across you from this video. I have a degree in social policy and criminology. I’ve never used it as I went on to qualify elsewhere. How do you step into criminology? I always felt that if I ever wanted to leave my current job I have nothing to go into. But I’ve this degree just wasted and no idea what to do with it 😂

Are sentences public information in the states/chicago? Bc if they are you could, in theory, collate records of all inmates incarcerated between 2014/17 who were of the right age and any other likely criteria - it won’t drop the list down to zero but might be enough to get law enforcement to take note
