Thank you Nicole for talking about addiction, it has such stigma, a lot of addicts are wonderful people, not like portrayed on TV. And loving them is wonderful,but addiction is the devestating part. Lost my bf 6 months ago the same way.

I completely agree!! My boundaries are so strict now. I think you have learned a lot about yourself and to trust your instincts. I think the hardest thing is seeing pain in people and wanting to help when it’s not your burden to bear, there isn’t literally anything you can do. It’s them. especially when it comes to addiction. Thankful for therapy and for you are sharing a part of your story. You have made me feel less lonely, thank you 🫂🫶
