Average life expectancy being 30 doesn’t mean people didn’t grow up to be adults or didn’t grow old. Child mortality was extremely high (many kids wouldn’t survive birth or first years of life) but other than that people became pretty old.

So, there are multiple issues with this. Firstly, it is physically impossible for a child to undergo a safe pregnancy with zero medical help or any comfort around them which is something that Mary did- undergoing labour in a barn. This therefore means that Mary must have gone through the entirety of puberty; placing her at the age of at least 17 (this is when the hips of a woman widen for child bearing which is required to do what Mary did.) Next, on the power imbalance. This concept of a power imbalance makes zero sense considering that the angel requests for Mary's permission; showcasing that Mary has power over her bodily autonomy which places both God and Mary on an equal playing field. Next, it makes perfect sense for Jesus to be concieved. The immaculate conception sets Jesus apart from other prophets or humans which highlights the divine nature of Jesus

1500 yrs ago there were no DOB or calendar’s. Puberty was the transition period from girl to woman. Jews christians pagans were all marrying with that tradition. Today girls reach puberty later so marriage is later.

If it was okay that at the time, in the culture Mary was considered an adult (at age 12), why is it then a problem that Aisha was considered an adult at age 9? Jewish law and Islamic law (and uncomfortably for you Christians too) adulthood starts at puberty, which can be between 8-13 in girls.
