When a crime is committed, responsibility belongs to the person who committed it not to an entire nationality, race, or immigrant community. The same society that is quick to blame immigrants often forgets that many of the people saving lives in hospitals, caring for patients, and serving their communities are immigrants too. It is wrong to make innocent people suffer for someone else’s actions. Collective blame only creates more division and pain. We should be teaching our children empathy, respect, and peaceful coexistence, not hatred, violence, or prejudice. Everyone deserves to be judged by their own actions, not by where they come from.
