@oliviasaad3: OK, I need your guys‘s help. All ideas are welcome. How do I smash this tile out? #demolition #bathroommakeover #bathroom #bathroomtiles #oldhomerenovation @Bose
The contractor did their job right with that tile. We just went through the same thing with our walk in shower. It was an entire day of chipping and cutting away. Just for demo

I if you’re ever dealing with that wire mesh use a shingle scrapper get a small one to get it started up high then get a bigger one once you can fit it behind you will be able to take down the whole wire mesh & the tile all in 1 and be able to kind of roll it up to throw out. This will save a lot of time & headache

One of these (SDS Plus Rotary hammer) with a chisel bit on it will make quick work of that wall.

Cut squares with a grinder using a diamond blade on the studs and use a 3’-4’ pribar the longer the pribar the more leverage u have and less strength u use

7” Angle grinder, 2 tiles out from the corners, and halfway down the back wall, sledge hammer, maul and crowbars to get behind the plaster, be careful not to put to much pressure on the studs, don’t wanna crack the drywall on the other side.

Get you a SDS and a chisel bit! It doesn’t have to be expensive, go to harbor freight and get a cheap one!

Get a long crowbar get it in there between the back of the plaster and between the studs trying to pull it off once you get them going the whole wall will come down in one piece, but really I would have to show you

you gotta pry it off the wall. but you gotta detach it from the inside corners somehow. you can beat them out with a hammer. or get a right angle grinder and cut out sections. and its finna be heavy af
