They'll do it but Jabu Jabu will be something else entirely. Still a whale but likely 100 times larger and with some kind of structure built inside him or maybe on him??. In the original Ruto says that she regularly goes inside Jabu, but we don't see any reason why she would do that. They will fix that in the remake.
