You know yall can turn it off or set it at a certain distance to where it enables it, for example there is an option for it where I can set it at 30 yards, that means if I throw it 30 yards downfield, it activates the timing based catching, this is such a good add to the game if you can get good at it, because this can make you catch those contested catches more often, also even if you green a catch, if the defender lays a big hit you can still drop it
