Prosecutors say Williams punched, choked, and pistol-whipped the woman, forced her into a vehicle at gunpoint, threatened to kill her, and prevented her from escaping multiple times while searching for a place to shoot her. After she eventually escaped, he allegedly fired gunshots. Days later, police pursued Williams after reports that he was armed and experiencing a psychiatric emergency, ending the chase after a multi-vehicle crash on I-75. During his arraignment, Williams jumped from his wheelchair and shouted “I love you” upon seeing the victim in court, prompting deputies to tackle and remove him.
