@lifegoalinvestments: Social Security just got a whole lot more uncomfortable. The Trustees are now warning of a potential 22% benefit cut if nothing changes. That’s roughly $500/month for the average retiree. And the Trust Fund depletion timeline was just moved up to 2032. This is exactly why retirement planning can’t rely on hope. sounds like the federal government should commit to a 900 trillion dollar bail out package to the social security fund. or do they only do that for the banks and their friends?

If they’re saying that the money is going to run out and the people currently paying in will never see a dime of that money in retirement, you need to stop taking that money

At this point, social security should no longer be mandatory, people should be able to use that money to make investments, if you get aggressive and go into digital assets, you'll be alot better than the person who waits to receive ss

Voting red eventually results in transfer of money from the needy to the wealthy. The trickle down / helping the “job creators “ claims never seem to work out the way they want you to believe.

Let’s talk about the trillions of $$$ taken out of SS over the decades for govt expenses… but never paid back! Time to pay it back with interest! SS is our money not a free govt borrowing fund!
