If our best athletes grew up playing soccer instead of football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, etc., we wouldn’t give up a goal ever. Imagine Tyreek Hill or Justin Jefferson or Ohtani on the pitch. It’d be hilarious

Why do people think we🇺🇸 don't take soccer seriously? We do, it's just not popular, but we do take it seriously. We won the cricket version of the World Cup, and that's how we all learned we have a cricket team. Like, any cricket team at any level of skill. Players take their sport very seriously. You don't need millions of fans to take something you personally love seriously.

It is a state-of-the-art $250 million complex serves as the headquarters and training hub for all 27 U.S. National Teams. The 200-acre site features 17 outdoor playing surfaces (including natural grass, turf, and beach pitches), indoor training fields, a 10,000-square-foot high-performance gym, and specialized facilities for power soccer. With this and the growing number of professional soccer clubs, it will likely grow over the next 20 years into a much stronger competitor in the sport.

I have two friends that play pro one plays In La Liga the other in the premier league and he says if we really put real infrastructure & money behind it there’s a no brainer. He named 2 other pro athletes that he played soccer with young but went other sports that are very dominant in respective sports.

The American highschool to college sports academic pipeline could absolutely manufacture 100 years of footballing culture for us. One generation of athletes is all it would take, we just don’t care about it like that.
