@ashley.bland08: You don’t have to know everything before you go… but these will give you a head start: ⏰ 1. Army Time (Military Time) Learn how the 24-hour clock works (Example: 1400 = 2:00 PM) 🎶 2. Cadence Learn how marching/running cadence sounds so you can follow along with your platoon. ( go on YouTube and look up army cadence) 🎖️ 3. Army Rank Structure Know the difference between enlisted, NCOs, and officers — and who you’re talking to. 📜 4. Soldier’s Creed Start memorizing it now. You WILL say it every morning when you're at training. 💪 5. Warrior Ethos “I will always place the mission first…” Know what it means, not just the words. 🫡 6. Three General Orders Every trainee is expected to learn them. 🏃 7. Army PRT (Physical Readiness Training) Learn the warm-up drills, exercises, and commands. ⭐ Bonus: ✔️ How to stand at attention ✔️ Customs & courtesies ✔️ Drill movements ✔️ Army Values (LDRSHIP) Show up prepared. Your future self will thank you. 💪 #BasicTraining #ArmyTips #FutureSoldier #MilitaryLife #ArmyStrong

Be where you are supposed to be at the time you need to be there in the right uniform and you we’ll succeed. Basic training was one of the most valuable moments of my life and when It’s time to graduate and you see your family it’s one of the most valuable moments of your life.

I only made it halfway through my first day before I broke my arm. But the army promoted me made Mi Mi Sergeant night Commander. It doesn’t matter about basic training.
