My problem is that me complimenting people is my way of ushering in small talk and ppl ALWAYS assume that I'm dry begging. I'm legit, autistic--I will straight up ASK or TELL you when I want something to the best of my ability. I don't do that passive aggressive business lol Or when I slightly criticize something or I'm not 100% happy happy joy joy about something but otherwise I'm neutral now all of a sudden I'm the WORST to hang out with and I'm NEVER happy with anything...I'm coming to the conclusion that ppl just don't like me so EVERYTHING I do is annoying and exaggerated to others lol

When I was unhoused I was constantly accused of dry begging when I was simply just talking about my situation. Like was I asking for donations? Absolutely. But they would accuse me of dry begging on separate posts where I wasn’t asking for shit, just giving updates.

i went shopping with a friend once bc he needed to get something on the way to dropping me off at home and i saw something on an end cap that was new and was like "oh that looks cool!" and my friend said something like "i have kids, i know you're trying to get me to buy that for you" 💀 no i genuinely just thought it was a cool product

Oh, your mom's rejection sensitivity is top notch. RSD is like a villian bullying you in your own head. i had it really bad. And then when I learned what it was, I started talking to it like it was a insecure little kid in my brain.... showing it so much love. And it mostly went away.

I have adhd and sometimes talking out loud about what I'm thinking of doing helps me break out of executive dysfunction paralysis. I can't tell you how often people assume I'm trying to manipulate them into doing something for me.

One of my coworkers is obsessed with Pepsi Max and he has just moved into our new office building and I made a joke about how I thought the fridge would be full of Pepsi Max by now, and he took that to be me hinting to have the one can he had in the fridge 😫
