I definitely think waiting is the right move. When my kids were small the pediatrician told me that girls train at 18 months and boys train at 2. With my first 2, one girl then a boy, I listened to the pediatrician. I trained myself to grab them up and run to the potty when I saw cues. It took months for them to tell me on their one. With my 3rd I didn’t care what anyone said and I waited until he could communicate that he was wet and that he pooped and he was excited for big boy pants at age 3. It was so easy. My granddaughters also trained between 2 1/2 and 3 and showed signs of being ready. My oldest granddaughter’s pediatrician said that forcing it leads to urinary tract infections because they go when they are told instead of feeling the sensation of having to go. She said they will force some pee out each time instead of emptying their bladders so waiting for readiness is imperative.

We definitely waited until he started to get excited about it! So when were home on Christmas break, we stuck training potties all over the house and just let him run bare and free for 2 weeks straight 😂 He got it pretty quick!

I tried my triplets at 2 and it was a no go.. but we’ve kept the potty out and would randomly talk about it and they’d use. Transitioned to trying before naps and bed. And then finally I said “no more pull ups!” And after 3 days in undies only, no accidents! They’ll be 3 in 2 months.

I don't think you are behind, everything can be a completely different timeline for multiples. not to mention each one of the triplets may be ready at a different time then their own sibling

This! I waited until my kids were ready and seriously it was almost💯stress free.. so many people do it way too soon and it’s so stressful on everyone

I think with triplets you should do whatever works. All my kids I potty trained just before age 2 (I have 4) but they were one at a time so no judgement from me!

Aww, yay girls. Love the strategy of waiting, it’s just easier on everyone. My boy/girl twins… the boy twin was a FULL YEAR behind his sister but once he was ready it was immediate where the girlie was more of a drawn out process.
