@frequencytherapist: Perimenopause can start in your late 30s or 40s and last anywhere from 4 to 10 years — and it’s the hormonal fluctuation, not just decline, that makes it feel so chaotic. So many women get told they’re stressed, anxious or “just tired” when their hormones are the real story. As a psychologist, the emotional side is what I see most and it’s so often missed. Save this. Send it to the friend who’s been struggling. And come learn what to actually do about it on 18 June. 👉 https://events.humanitix.com/mid-lif-ery-live-presents-the-perimenopause-edition #perimenopause #womensmentalhealth #midlife #hormones #perimenopauseanxiety

The unexplained rage. Yesterday I asked if my husband needed anything from Costco and when he replied with his needs, I was enraged! Like what? 😅 🥺

My daughter is 26 and I've been preparing her for it for when she goes through it. My mom never talked about it so I thought I was falling apart mentally when I started going through it and didn't know why.

Don’t forget about new weird allergies like bananas, inner ear itching, your whole body itching, and burning mouth. <—-that one is the absolute worst! Think about the spiciest thing you’ve ever eaten, multiply by 10 and that’s just how your mouth is for no reason whatsoever. *medically induced menopause at 36 🫣😭

That is essentially me in a nutshell. That’s why on weekends, days off, and the summer I take naps as much as possible. They help me reset.
