Y’all. You have to get used to driving long distances in Texas or you won’t see anything. The Austin to Dallas drive is nothing. In college I used to go to parties in austin and drive back to Dallas in the morning for work. Not with 2 kids, but hungover for sure.

Your kid has to start learning how to do things like riding three hours in a car seat. Of course stopping along the way. They make it so much more difficult than it really is if you train your kids

No question drive, you drive at night when the kids sleep time starts. Less traffic. We’ve done 12-13 hour drives straight at night with 4 kids.
