Just wanted to clarify, it was the SS "Badger State" which caught fire in Dec 1969, and sank in early 1970. The SS Badger is a ferry which still operates on Lake Michigan today. The picture shown is of SS Pere Marquette 18, which was also a ferry that operated on Lake Michigan until it sank in 1910.
