@simonsinek: The best way to overcome struggle is with the help of others. It's all well and good to have specific days and weeks set aside to show our appreciation, but it's even better to back that with public support the rest of the year. I work for a hospital company, and the company pays for 6 therapy sessions per year with a licensed therapist, additional sessions with a life coach, and they help with substance abuse programs. I feel like they at least make an effort to care for the caregivers.

The hospital administration and health care companies that run these facilities perpetuate the toxic work culture.

There have been people to say it, and they no longer work in the field because they were silenced and or pushed out and almost no one hears about them. So I love what he said, but he is wrong on that part

Currently attempting to lock in on efforts to turn that ship in a busy 911 EMS service. Every support conversation is worth the struggle from the bureaucracy. LETS GO!

This is exactly what the charity Project Wingman (UK) was created to help with during COVID. This kind of mental health support was so so necessary, at the time and since (although funding for such is not there).

As a mental health professional, this is an area I am passionate about serving with trauma therapy. Also, most employees won’t see MH that are paid by their employer for fear of disclosures and being fired for struggling. Many go silent and they are the people who deserve so much of our focus and care!
