My grandpa had this at the end of his life. A loooong battle with dementia, and a few days before he passed, his memory made a full recovery for a few hours 😭

It's a spiritual thing what happens in 'terminal lucidity'.When the dying person 'sees' his/her family or a particular favourite person the dying person 'loved dearly' on the 'other side' calling/telling the dying person he/she is waiting for them to 'come' to that person or family and join them.So the dying person gets told to 'eat' or 'enjoy' their last most thing on this life because they will come back and 'fetch' the dying person to be with them on the other side.I've seen this before it can be beautiful when the dying person is happy and eager to their loved on the other side but sometimes they can be rejected by their family on the other side based on their wrongs they've done on this side and they haven't confessed/come clean or asked for forgiveness for what they've done.The dying person will be crying- it's painful.
