just run a vm, it to slow on them if you have a big network. my Pi4 could never keep up with all the requests. also it dies you have a dead network.

Try Technitium. It’s basically PiHole + Unbound for DNS cache. Also if you want that same of blocking outside your home network, Tailscale is there to help
