I'm glad Chevy chose to make an appealing model for everyone. The Z06 and ZR1 went with the smaller flat-plane for a sort of exotic/Euro engine philosophy, and then the Grand Sport offers a large displacement cross-plane for a more American muscle car sound and feel.

I gotta give chevy their props. they've done a great job with the c8 platform. the better trims are now out of the reach of 'regular' Joe's nowadays but still a great job.

It sounds like the 6.2. Granted, 0.5 liters isn't a tremendous difference in capacity as far as sound goes, but a welcome increase in horsepower

Corvette sound ranking. 1: GS, 2: Z06, 3: STING/E-RAY, 4: ZR1. The ZR1 is at the bottom because the turbo really quiets the exhaust note down a LOT, doesn't sound bad, but stock is pretty tame IMO. The Grand Sport will sound even better when @Concept841_Headers makes headers for it, their Stingray/E-Ray exhaust takes the exhaust note up a massive notch
