@jayceebrammer: And we finally have a structurally sound front porch again 👏 This part of the renovation isn’t the most exciting but it’s the important part! Not only do we want this home to be gorgeous, we also want everything to be completed correctly and safe! And now that it is, we can work on making it pretty! Next up: wood-look paint on the front door and then we wrap the posts! #homerenovation #homeremodelproject #porchmakeover #diyhomeprojects #homeimprovement
Change the shutters next to the windows to a wood one which will match with the door and garage

Like the idea of doing a chunkier wood feature with the bricks. Can’t wait to see what you do

When does the overspray on the windows come off. Sorry, but It's making my brain itch. Love the changes though, lots of hard work paying off 🥰

Totally random, but if you have a garden, I suggest keeping the original posts to use as a trellis!! We did that with our old mailbox post and it works like a charm.

Switching out to wood is genius! Consider replacing with 6x6, or 8x8. Your home is wide across and can handle larger posts beautifully. If you haven’t cut the 4x4s, you can likely return them or keep and use them for a future project

The old posts would be a fun trellis in the backyard.
