Eu achei que era fluente em português… Minas Gerais falou: nem pensar 😅 —— English explanation: I learned Portuguese in other parts of Brazil… but Minas is a different game 😅 People here talk faster, shorten words, and use expressions I’ve never heard before. “Você” becomes “cê,” “isso” becomes “isso aí,” and somehow everything turns into “trem.” Half the time I’m just smiling, nodding, and hoping I understood correctly. That said… the people here are some of the nicest I’ve met in Brazil — so at least they’re patient with me while I figure it out 😂 #minasgerais #belohorizonte #aprenderportugués
