Ill stick with my cartridge filters. I've got spares, just swap and go. no back washing. crystal clear water since installed.

My filter didn’t come with very clear instructions on all the different settings. Filter backwash waste all very confusing to me.

Do you ever just try and shop vac out the sand without cutting open the filter to fix it? It takes soooo friggin long. Or do you mainly just do new installs, so cutting it doesn’t matter?
