I’m much older than u so I’ve been on my journey for a long time . I appreciate you sharing your journey because women all over need to hear that. I had it stuck in my head from my father. If you can’t do it right don’t do it at all so I would start the project and it wouldn’t be perfect and I would get frustrated and I would just leave it because I couldn’t do it perfectly., It was a struggle and it took me years and years of practicing to show up and just do the little thing finish the project and I still in my house at the moment I have several projects going and I just do them a little at a time and when I’m done I’m happy with the results regardless if it is perfect or not I can so be the perfectionist , so I completely understand what you’re saying and I appreciate you getting that word out because there’s so many women like us that are on their journey or just beginning their journey and trying to deal with the thoughts or the words or the actions that other people put on us that caused us to internalize some of the things that we have. Just giving yourself grace is a big big thing because there are a lot of moms out there that are working hard and they are thinking you know I’m not giving my family enough. I’m not giving my job enough, and they’re stressed and they’re trying to make it all work and it doesn’t all fit into a 24 hour day so you know just trying to do a little bit each day is so what needs to be done, my mom always tells me”how do you eat a elephant? one bite at a time.”That’s been my mantra for a long time and I’m so glad to see you on your journey. Thank you for sharing. In my opinion u r beautiful inside and out.
