Well, well, well. They bought the car because they needed to drive it, and she left her plates on their so they could. Turns out the seller never gave the buyer the title so they could register the car. She's up their griping about tickets they racked up, the tickets came to her (because she's the registered owner), she just told them there were tickets. and she never gave them the tickets to pay. In the end, she wound up paying them, because they couldn't get the car out of impound because of the way she screwed up the sale.
