Almost all of my card decks want to be shuffled differently. If I don’t shuffle the way the deck wants, they don’t work. One of my Oracle decks ONLY wants to do jumpers and won’t work otherwise.

Whenever I get a jumper card I put it back in and reshuffle lol, it just never feels right for me. I find it cool when others do it tho~

I actually prefer jumpers personally because it feels more authentic. I feel like I'm cherry picking the cards if I use any other shuffle method. I've tried splitting the deck, picking from the top and the fan method. I didn't like any of them.

Tarot isn’t Uno, Rummy or Solitaire . Why are people making rules for Tarot ? I also saw a post saying a 3 card spread is wrong. I do 3 card spreads all the time as well as 1 and got a clear answer versus a reader that did a full Celtic spread. To each their own.

One time I asked my deck if I could bridge shuffle them just to see if I could and it gave me the judgement card When I did it flawlessly it gave me Queen of Wands 😭😭 "damn girl okay impressive" Probably the funniest conversation I've ever had with them

What makes me laugh now is the fact that if you read the books, they say, wrap your cards in silk or leave them in the moonlight or leave a crystal on the top of them to cleanse them. Now 30 years ago, they were lucky. If they got a box you had none of that, especially the one with crystals, and it feels like a manipulation to get you to spend money. Do you know what I was told to do on how to cleanse them, was to put my hands over the top of them and imagine white light washing through them from my hands and the light washing the darkness away, that was it

I feel like it’s up to the deck too. I can shuffle my OG deck and they’ll jump for me. But I do have cards that are a thicker card stock and they’re not gonna handle that kind of shuffle. I just decided I would work with the decks and see which shuffle works for em

I’ve been talking about this for years. Tarot has no strict rules..it’s all based on intuition. If a card jumps out while I’m shuffling, I’ll take it into consideration and intuitively connect it to the cards that appeared in the reading. 🧚

I know who you're speaking about as I saw this person taking some parts of your reels. I appreciate both of you, but as a person making bridge shufflings and reading jumping cards, I have to agree with you about it. Until a reader doesn't scam or tricks people I don't feel the urge nor see the reason to call out on these tiny details🥰
