This era of Jetta had the worst shift selector ever. Twist the handle slightly and it feels like a cheap plastic toy. Such a downgrade from the Mk5 years.

or u can get the se with the 1.8 ea888. I think the S has that sad 1.4 or the 2.0 NA. Not even a consideration. Only go with the mainstream engines. The TDI or the ea888.
