Sara, also known as #A757307 arrived at @lbanimalcare with swelling around her tongue, face, and neck due to a suspected salivary mucocele… essentially meaning her saliva is ending up in all the wrong places. It’s been drained twice… and still keeps coming back. She’ll need additional testing to confirm the diagnosis, surgery to fix it, and a safe place to recover. A dental and some skin TLC are also on her list, but right now the priority is stopping the fluid buildup before it leads to infection. Miss Smalls needs a lot of care, and the shelter simply doesn’t have the resources. So they put out an urgent plea. We met her and… yeah. It was one of those moments. The kind where you just know. We were all in. But we needed some help to make that “yes” possible. Remember earlier this week when we shared that we partnered with the amazing folks at 15/10 Foundation? Well… they brought the magic. ✨ A HUGE thank you to @15/10 Foundation for covering Sara’s care in its entirety. Because of their support, and a few incredible humans who stepped up to foster her, this tiny, 25 lb, 2-year-old queen (yes, she’s full-grown) gets her chance at the life she deserves. Sara is sweet, silly, and so full of love. The kind of dog who leans in, soaks up every bit of attention, and makes it very clear she believes she’s meant to be adored. Honestly?
